Not-for-Profit: Thriving in Community
Online Event
Join First Credit Union and Vantage Point for Not-for-Profit: Thriving in Community, a series of skill building workshops designed to support for the not-for-profit sector.
Workshops will include; Board Roles and Responsibilities, Scenario Planning in Times of Change, Engaging Skilled Volunteers in a Virtual World, and Succession Planning and Recruitment. Workshop content will consider our current COVID-19 challenges and are designed to be as interactive as possible with virtual break-out rooms intended to support networking between organizations and individuals.
First Credit Union is pleased to be sponsoring this content which means that workshops are FREE to attend. There are no limits to how many people from an organization can join us, however space is limited so please do let us know/cancel your registration if you are unable to attend.

Notice to Members: First Insurance Has Moved!
We would like to announce that First Insurance and Westview Agencies have rebranded as The Co-operators. As of February 1, 2020, First Insurance has relocated to 109-4871 Joyce Ave at Crossroads Village.
Why one insurance office in Powell River?
Because both insurance agencies are operating as The Co-operators, offering the same products and services, it no longer makes sense to operate two locations so close together. As well, we will be renovating to serve you better and will be utilizing that space.
Where do I go for my insurance needs?
Your insurance needs will be provided as of February 1, 2020 at The Co-operators (formerly Westview Agencies) located in Crossroads Village 4871 Joyce Ave #109, Powell River, BC V8A 5P4, 604-485-7931.

Will my coverage, policy or payment options change?
No, your coverage, policy and payment structure will remain the same. No action is required on your part.

Your claim will continue to be managed by the person assigned to your file.
